We've now had Lucky for well over a month, and to my surprise Kaylyn is still fascinated with him! I totally thought the novelty would wear off after a few days, but she's always so excited to see him. And she is so eager to help take care of him, giving him treats and helping me clean his cage. She really loves him a lot!
Tonight as we let him out so we could clean the cage, she said:
"Ooooh Lucky, you are SO cute! Your whiskers are so tickley! And your cheeks are so squishy! And your eyes are so SPRINKLEY!"
I think she meant "sparkly," but "sprinkley" is pretty darn cute.
