Kaylyn is quite fascinated with emergency vehicles -- ambulances, fire trucks, and of course police cars. It's always exciting to see one while we're driving, but she becomes quite concerned if one goes by with lights and sirens going.
Yesterday, as we were driving home, an ambulance came down the cross-street, lights and sirens blaring...
Kaylyn: "Mommy, why does that ambulance have its lights and sirens on?"
Mommy: "Well, I think they are going to an emergency."
Kaylyn: "What kind of emergency?"
Mommy: "I don't know...maybe someone got hurt."
Kaylyn: "Maybe they got bit by a SHARK!"
Mommy: "Yes, maybe that's what happened..."
