We attempted another vacation this weekend. We took the trailer to Leavenworth again (seems like we can't quite get enough of that place!) and this time Karen, Steve, and Cameron joined us.
We did have a fun time, but the weather SUCKED. It poured, poured, and poured some more! We had brief sun breaks yesterday and we hurried to the petting farm and made it out of there before getting dumped on. But that was about the only fun thing we managed to do dry.
Even with the trailer, rain is no fun. Everything got soaked, BBQing was a bit difficult, and despite bringing my kids' entire wardrobe, they STILL ran out of clean clothes. So we ditched early and came home today instead of tomorrow.
AND, to top it off, I had a brief stay at the Leavenworth ER due to what was probably a kidney stone! I think it passed last night, but still a bit sore. Something always goes wrong with me when I go on vacation. Phooey!
Sorry to hear you had such a sucky camping weekend, no vacation should include a trip to the ER...bummer! We were also camping that weekend, what a way to end summer break hey =) Camping in the Northwest...oh joy!
